Program Process

- Energy audit is completed, suggesting measures that should be completed
- The homeowner pays for the energy audit at the time of service, or as arranged with the energy auditor; payment for the energy audit should NOT be subject to receipt of the MichCon Rebate
- Homeowner completes a recommendation(s) contained in the energy audit report
- Homeowner makes application to MichCon for the energy audit rebate; application requires a copy of the energy audit report and proof of purchase of measure(s) installation; e-mail of an electronic energy audit report in PDF format is preferred, but not required
- MichCon processes the Rebate Application on a first-come, first-served basis; approximately 200 rebates may be granted during the 2 years of the Pilot Program.
- MichCon will make payment of the $250 Rebate in a check to the homeowner
