There are four categories of Bryant heating and cooling systems, including hybrid heat split systems, split systems, duct-free split systems, and packaged systems. Hybrid heat split systems are a more energy-efficient variation of the traditional heating and cooling split system, as it allows more control over which fuel is used for heating. Split systems are the most traditional heating and cooling systems. Bryant duct-free systems can be installed where conventional ducted systems cannot go. Packaged solutions are great if your home does not have the space for multiple separate products usually found in a split system.

Earning the title of Bryant factory authorized dealer requires technical expertise, outstanding business practices and superior customer service quality. NADCA

Did you know that one of the top five environmental risks to public health is poor indoor air pollution? Bacteria, mold, dust and pollen can blow through your home or office every time your heating and cooling systems are on. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, levels of some airborne pollutants in homes and offices may be up to 100 times higher than outdoor levels! Solution? The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) mission is to promote source removal as the only acceptable method of cleaning air ducts. Formed in 1989 as a non-profit association, NADCA has expanded their mission to include representing companies that assess, clean, and restore HVAC systems. NADCA is known across the world as the benchmark for qualified air systems and ventilation professionals.

FLAME Furnace technicians are all certified by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, with specific recognition in Ventilation Inspection and Ventilation System Mold Remediation. We offer a complete range of air system cleaning and sanitizing. We understand that regular air duct cleaning is essential to keep your Michigan home & business' air safe and pollutant-free. Some of our residential & commercial indoor air quality services include air duct inspection, duct cleaning and duct system sanitizing.

FLAME Furnace also suggests in-line ultraviolet lighting. Through research and development, air duct cleaning developers have learned that special UV light bulbs installed in air ducts can kill almost all airborne germs and impurities. Another way to battle these air duct germs is to install a high performance filter system. Such systems increase the efficiency of your air duct cleaner.

Proper air duct management will improve your air quality, bring a healthier indoor environment and help your air duct system equipment to perform more efficiently and last longer. Clean and efficient systems have a longer life span. How frequently should you clean your air duct system for a Michigan home or business? That depends on several factors, including the presence of smokers in the house, pets that shed, residents with allergies, etc. Under normal circumstances, you should have your air duct system cleaned every 2 to 4 years.

NADCA members have a signed code of ethics stating that they will do anything possible to protect the consumer and follow the NADCA standards for cleaning. FLAME Furnace technicians have passed the certification examination and demonstrate knowledge of all cleaning methods. We have worked in tens of thousands of homes across the Metropolitan Detroit region! As an industry leader, we have a reliable team of trained and licensed technical professionals offering same day service, evening and Sunday appointments, as well as holiday service. FLAME Furnace continues to grow, as we built our business model around "the complete home comfort partner."

North American Technician Excellence

How important is it for you to feel confident and trust your heating and cooling company? Have you heard horror stories of inexperienced heating and cooling companies, making costly mistakes only to charge you more? Wouldn't it help if there was a certification process, a training program for technicians? Eighty-seven percent of consumers want a dependable skilled technician to service their home comfort system. The simple solution is NATE. North American Technician Excellence Inc. is an independent, third-party certification group for HVAC/R technicians. It is the nation's largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. Some certifications merely train technicians. NATE tests technicians.

Candidates must earn installation and service certification in five areas: air conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating, and oil heating. A NATE-certified technician is better trained, more prepared and can easily prove their breadth of knowledge.

NATE is supported by manufacturers, wholesalers, utilities, educators, technicians, contractors, and trade associations. Under the Montgomery GI Bill, the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) reimburses veterans who take the NATE tests. The U.S. Army recognizes NATE certification for promotion points. There is no other certification exam that has such widely accepted industry support.

FLAME Furnace technicians are all NATE certified and spend over 40 hours every year learning the latest techniques and equipment. For the initial certification, a technician must pass two exams: Core and Specialty. The Core test covers basic math, customer relations, fundamentals of electricity and heat transfer, and customer comfort. Specialty test topics include core system components, applied knowledge, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and service/installation topics.

The NATE test is extremely challenging, as only 66%-68% pass. FLAME Furnace technicians prepare for this certification by studying and reviewing textbooks, or taking preparation courses. FLAME Furnace supports the certification as certified technicians remain in the industry longer and do the job right the first time, which makes for very satisfied consumers. In fact, we currently support over 200,000 residential and commercial customers who have been with us for an average of 12 years!

We are proud that all of our technicians offer consumers knowledgeable service on their heating and cooling systems. Consumers have learned that technicians wearing the NATE logo know heating and cooling systems. NATE-certified technicians carry a wallet card to prove it-all FLAME Furnace technicians proudly carry this card. Remember, you can only rely on NATE-certified technicians for quality and dependable. You can rely on FLAME Furnace.
